CONTESTS

So I wanted to thank everyone who submitted themselves to win THE Gram Parsons CONTEST.

RICKY SMITH PARIS HILTONS PUSS

Below are some of the great responses:

Rory B wrote: I want to win so I’ll get the pleasure of explaining who GP was to everyone who sees me wearing my shirt and asks “Who’s Gram Parsons?”

Stu: I just finished the new biography of Gram Parsons (Twenty Thousand Roads), and if you are at all a fan, I would recommend it. After reading the biography I was pleased to learn that Gram Parsons also extremely disliked the Eagles, a feeling I share completely.

AND BELOW THE WINNER IS:

Chris Mac wrote: As a kid, I only remember Gram Parsons from my brother’s LP collection from the early 80s. But more recently, Parsons has been influential in my musical tastes, especially Ryan Adams, Gillian Welch, Jayhawks and Sadies to name a few from a very long list. To win this CD, it would be a pleasure in recapturing the genius that is Gram Parsons.

Chris Ill be emailing you soon to let you know that you won. Thanks.
