However, instead of him cracking his head wide open, I save his life by holding down his leg to make sure he doesn’t go over the side of the boat.

You know what? In no way do I ever outwardly ignore pop culture or anything but somehow I kind of always find myself just not knowing that much about it.

Anyway, last night, I was failing to fall asleep and decided to watch a bit of tv and I caught a little bit of the MTV music awards and I saw two things that sparked my interest.

1. the whole Kanye thing. Once again, I really don’t give a fuck about artists personalties cause when it comes down to it, their art will outlive them no matter what so eventually Kanye will be a guy who made albums and people will remember him mostly for that. I mean look at MJ. He’s a god now. Or should I say a KING.

2. A video for Kelly Clarkson. I thought to myself, you know what a lot of bands and musicians seem to like her (Gaslight and Ted Leo both cover her songs). Maybe I should really check out a Kelly Clarkson. See I said it outloud.

And then I wake up this morning and I read THIS. . Now I must buy her albums. Love artists who don’t really give a fuck about public opinion and just say how they feel, even if it’s very unpopular. Which then again, kind of supports most of what Kanye does. Except for the whole, ruining of someone’s moment of accolades.

anyway, which Kelly Clarkson album should I buy??

I woke up at 5am this morning like it was noon. bad news.
