So I decided that after a few weeks of hard work, I would treat myself to a nice trip.
I bought a ticket to go to Australia from August 27th to Sept 8th of this year. If you know anyone who lives near Sydney, please let me know.
I will be taking about 2000 pictures while I am there and am already planning on bringing 4 cameras with me.
So if you know any Americans or New Yorkers living down in Australia, please let me know.

From Polyvinyl:
Polyvinyl needs your help! Our distributor’s warehouse is being downsized because of consolidation and they requested to destroy over 10,000 records or we face the possibility of high storage costs.
Destroying the records is not an option (it’s too wasteful and besides, these are great records, they’re just overstocked)! Storing the records at our distributor is not an option (we cannot afford the thousands of dollars in storage costs). So to keep them from destruction, we’re hoping to have all the records shipped back to our office.
We desperately need your help to clear out space in our backroom for everything to fit. Please help make this a win-win situation for everyone – we clear out space, we don’t have to destroy great records, and you get the opportunity to get some awesome music from the likes of Aloha, of Montreal, Mates of State, Joan of Arc, Mike Kinsella, Rainer Maria, and many more. $5 Pledge gets you:

Fri 22 May 2009
So I went to see Jonah Matranga (Far, Onelinedrawing, New End Original, Gratitude) at Mercury Lounge last night and as usual, he was pretty brilliant.
(check out his lars Von Trier shirt.. ode to VH!)
Jonah might be one of the most approachable men in rock and he is sincerely pretty humble all around. I talked to him before the show and he was just as nice as could be and even played two songs I asked for including Got my List and Man Overboard by Far. He started off his set with Weezer’s “Say it Ain’t So.”
Anyway, check out the video I took of him below. He talks about his appreciation for Adam Lambert’s weirdness and his unappreciation for John Mayer. Very funny …
