ESSENTIAL RECORDS: Propagandhi - How to Clean Everything.
Posted by Krist under MUSIC , MUSIC LINKS , MP3'S , ESSENTIAL RECORDS , GUILTY PLEASUREOK this record might fall under guilty pleasures too but I fucking LOVE this album. Like I have said in the past I did my internship in college at Fat Wreck Chords and when I would tell music friends / people in college that I was doing it I would get one of two responses.. Holy Shit I love that label. Or they only thing worth anything on that label is Propagandhi (and sometimes, Snuff) It seems that anyone who hated pop punk at the time seemed to sort OK Propagandhi. So for some crazy funny Canadian punk rock…

Wow, this really brings me back. It reminds me of blissful days spent skateboarding and hanging out with my friends in high school. Really love Anti-Manifesto.
In high school, I once wrote Propaghandhi a letter and they wrote me back! It was a very funny, sweet response. My 17 year old self couldn’t believe it. So take that, internets!

Agreed, this album was awesome when it came out and still sounds great today. Too bad nothing they did afterwards even came close…

Side note: I remember at one time, it was either in their liner notes in a later album or an interview, they joked that they should have called this album “How To Have Totally Shitty Artwork” or something like that. Funny dudes.
I heard one of their more recent recordings a few years ago - totally aggro and weird!

Propagandhi are respectable! Not a guilty pleasure at all, everyone’s allowed to have been a teenager once
how are you? long long time no talk!

This album was and still is fucking awesome! I don’t know what the people above are talking about but everything they did has been kick ass! There sound evolved with every album and the newer stuff is a much fuller sound. Not to mention the best part about this band is their unshakable political beliefs. Maybe if more punk bands were actually educated about what they’re bitching about like Propagandhi is things might actually change. Amazing group of guys!
