I think sometime around this time last year I twisted an ankle on my way to the MOMA. Anyone remember that? Well two nights ago when I was coming out of theater from seeing the screening for the new Judd Apatow produced “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”, my calf muscle for no reason at all, decided to cramp and not become uncramped. I have been in bed since doing shit and figured would write some more..

here is a picture of me, typing this, with my leg elevated..

In this installment i give you Braid.

Briad

This band hailing from Chicago was one of the greatest bands to be mixed up in the whole midwestern mid 90′s Emo scene. Their has been and inspiration to me over the years. Every song they wrote was crafted perfectly. With the guitar lines and vocals of both Bob Nanna and Chris Broach, as well as the amazing drumming of Damon Atkinson and Roy Ewing (in the early days), every album they put out was better than the last. If you don’t know Braid you are missing out on one of the greatest bands ever (in my opinion). Here are a few tunes for you.

Braid-Do You Love Coffee? from Movie Music Volume 2
Braid-Killing A Camera from Frame and Canvas
Braid-A Dozen Roses from Frame and Canvas
Braid-Divers.mp3 from Age Of Octeen
Braid-Grace Car, Part 1 from Age Of Octeen
Braid-Please Drive Faster from Movie Music Volume 1
Braid-Capricorn from Lucky To Be Alive
