This week I give you Fifteen

fifteen.jpg

Fifteen was a band from the Bay Area of California fronted by Jeff Ott who is also well known for his time in the band Crimpshrine. Fifteen played political punk rock with messages of drug addiction, homelessness, environmental, and many other hot topics of the time as well as now. Most of the songs were a vehicle to tell stories of Jeff Ott’s past and his battles he fought with addiction and the streets. Their sound is one that is dirty punk rock but with a genuine voice and message. Even though I am not a very poltical person/care about the enviroment, something about this band always caught me. With that being said, here are a few songs that I love.

Fifteen- Liberation II

Fifteen- Greed

Fifteen- Grow Up

Fifteen- Vanessa
