This week I give you Christie Front Drive

Christie Front Drive is one of the most underrated early “emo” bands (in my eyes). They were around from 1993-1997, which to me is the golden age of emotional music. Only having one proper full length as well as a hand full of ep’s and splits, they managed to make their mark on the history of post hardcore and emo music in the mid 90’s. They toured the country many times, most notably with Jimmy Eat World, whom they also released a split 7″ with. This band proves that at one point in time you did not need tip top production to have a solid album. The music is pure raw emotion. So are a few songs from Anthology (collection full length), Stereo, and the Boy’s Life split.
November - From Stereo
Dyed On 8 - From Anthorogy
Instant Romance -From Boy’s Life Split
