Hmmmm, you must be much younger than 40... She was really important to a lot of people and wrote incredibly great music AND texts (lyrics). She turned 60 only weeks ago, and not one single post did I find via the Hype Machine. She seems completely forgotten. Ironicly, she is still touring through the Benelux, Austria and Germany a lot, also through some parts of the US. She is as active as she always was, releases new material all the time.
