Here are the other 1/2 of P named vinyl songs that I couldn’t fit on my last ABCs of VINYL post. Thanks.

FROM ONE OF HIS MANY PEDRO THE LION XMAS 7INCHES:
Pedro the Lion - Long Way around the Sea
FROM THE FALSETTO KEEPS TIME 7INCH:

Anyway, thanks for sticking around. How am I doing? Comments please, comments. My heart breaks slowly without comments!

I’m a regular … which ought to count for something.

I don’t get Pedro, every time I listen I turn it off. I have twice listened to an album all the way through, still missing it. Ses la via, great work otherwise and my opinion shouldn’t hose your glory down anyway.

I’m a little confused about the Pavement “Random Title” track because I don’t think it’s on “Slay Tracks.” Does it go by another name?
Thanks!

You are totally right. Fixed Fixed. Actually, I meant to post something from Slay Tracks and posted something from the 94′ Peel Sessions. Hope you enjoy anyway.

Thanks for answering my question about “Random Title,” but I think your track is actually called “Pueblo Domain” with the last 30 seconds cut off (check out the Peel Sessions pages at the BBC). I know you said that you like comments, but I hope I’m not pushing your patience!
Thanks again!

Haha. No please.
Actually the track names on the seven inch are:
Brink of the Clouds
Orange Black
Tarter Martyr
Random Title
the worst part about the 7 inch is that there is no insert, no words on the record and except the back cover has almost no information about the record at all.
So all I know about the record is, is that it’s on Treble Kicker (their own label), the four song titles and it says (Peel Session: Febuary (sic) - 1994)
wow, that’s the first time I have ever been able to use [sic] in context. awesome.
maybe I can send you the other tracks and you can help me decipher which is which…

Damn - now I really am confused! I thought the only Treble Kicker release was their first, the 1989 ‘Slay Tracks (1933-1969)’ 7″. From 1990 to early 1992 their stuff was released on Drag City and after that on Matador.
I did find mention of your Peel Session 2/94 7″ on the ‘net, but called a bootleg and without a track listing. Maybe Pavement was still using Treble Kicker to release their own bootlegs?
I have a download of the ‘Stuff Up The Cracks’ bootleg which has the four tracks from the 2/94 Peel Session as:
Brink Of The Clouds
Tartar, Martyr
Pueblo Domain
The Sutcliffe Catering Song [also known as ‘Easily Fooled’]
These titles line-up with the ‘Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain: LA’s Desert Origins’ re-release and with the BBC Peel Session website. So….
Listening to your download next to my ‘Stuff Up The Cracks’ downloads, your “Random Title” is the same as my “Pueblo Domain” (minus the last 30 seconds). Of course, it certainly wasn’t unusual for Pavement to screw around with their titles.
Sorry if I’m pounding this to death. I’ve enjoyed listening to Pavement for years, but only recently got really geeky about it! It would be great if you could send me (or post) the other tracks, but it’s cool if you’d rather not.
Oh, by the way, congrats on using “(sik)” (sic)!

no you are right, they must have released the peel sessions on their label and then someone bootlegged it or vice versa.
maybe..??
sic is right, correct?
