The Books, Paul de Jong and Nick Zammuto, are a two piece ‘cut and paste team’ from New England, (I think.)
They make songs with samples, a guitar, vocals and a cello. One of them looks identical to a young Paul Simon. Swear.
Anyway, OHMYROCKNESS tells us that they are playing a free show at the WfC, downtown. Tickets are free but you have to pick them up at 5.
Here is a song off the record Lemon of Pink. And no I don’t just love this song cause it’s called Tokyo. Also I think this song was used in an HIV awareness commercial.
